C9 Bracelet Question

Post by Markornot »

First of all, my thanks to Ferg for his input into this over at FB. I purchased a SS bracelet for my C9 Jumping Hour at the NN sale. The endlinks do no seem to be correct for the JH. I looked online and noted that the endlinks appear to be slightly different for the C9 PR models with the larger display case back and thought these links may be for those models of the C9. Having not actually seen the links unmounted, its possible I am not correct about that. CW customer service finally got back to me and advised that the links were not seated correctly. I can not see how they could be mounted any other way. I did develop a rather inelegant solution but wonder if anyone has a C9 JH that does not have the bracelet mounted so I could see the endlink. I attached a few shots with explanations. Any input would be appreciated from those owning the C9 bracelets.

This doesn't help you but..
I have a C9 SS with original bracelet. I have tried the bracelet on the C9FLE and it nearly fitted (much closer than your JH)
The photo wasn't designed to show the missfit, but the endlinks were very slightly higher than the lugs.

I did see a sale C9 bracelet a while ago for the single pusher, and thought I'd like that. BUT..it only fitted the gold single pusher as that had wider lugs than the original.

It appears that a C9 case comes in many different iterations. Sorry not to be of any help.
There's always time for one more.

Thanks Paul, I think it actually does help. I am trying to just get validation from some independent sources that the problem isn’t because it’s not seated properly as customer service claims but that there may be different versions and they provided me with end links for one of the other versions thus the incorrect fit.

So this looked like a similar "issue" that I've had but on another watch...so been doing some checking.

First up I bought one of these bracelets from the sale https://www.christopherward.co.uk/event ... nearly-new specifically for my C65 Trident GMT.
Here's the results...

Snag there old chap is that your trying to put a bracelet for the C65 Trident Classic onto a C65 Trident Diver GMT.

The C65 Trident Classic uses the same case as the C60. The C65 Trident Diver is altogether different.

From your link;-

Doh :headbash:
Thanks for pointing that out Guy

Luckily for me I bought a C65 Trident Diver bracelet off a forumite and have just fitted it - what a difference
