Deployment clasp on c60 trident rubber strap?

Post by Jjweldjoe »

Can the above be done? I prefer the feel of a rubber strap but the ease of use on a metal strap with a deployment clasp?

I suspect you could use a three fold “butterfly” style deployant clasp, but the rubber strap is likely to be too thick to use a Bader (two fold) style deployant.

I haven’t tried it myself (yet!), but I think the Hirsch sport deployant will fit the CW rubber strap. It fits the Hirsch Accent rubber strap which has the same taper (22 to 20mm) as the CW rubber on the C60. I’ll agree with Gary about the bader clasp - I tried one on a Tiber strap, which is about the same thickness as the rubber, and broke it as the strap was just too thick.
