Martu Straps
Thought I'd create a "Martu" thread seen as though there are a couple already on the forum and a fair few incoming.
Perhaps we could add any Martu straps to this for ref.
My Martu "Bumpy" arrived this morning ~5 weeks after ordering.
Pleased with the way it looks on my Alpina.
My only gripe is that the keeper is rather bulky for an 18mm strap, so I may see if it can be chopped down a bit.

so impressed with the quality of this 'slim hand brown leather vintage strap' - fantastic price too.
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Re: Martu Straps
Lovely straps there, the bumpy goes well with the Alpina, agree the keeper is a bit wide though.
Similarly the vintage looks very nice. I think a brown vintage is one of the most versatile straps you can get, it goes well with so many watches from a Black Bay to....a Tissot Seastar

^^^ Looks really good. Surely cemented it's position as the "one watch" now!
Although if that strap is 20mm, I bet it'd look damn fine on the Sarb

I wonder if they do a bumpy with green stitching?
Better go and take a look.

Re: Martu Straps
yes - i think it would also look stunninng on the SARB; however, as you say, it has just cemented the tissot's position as 'one watch' - couldn't be more happy with this strap.StrappedUp wrote: Looks really good. Surely cemented it's position as the "one watch" now!

btw - i love the bumpy strap too - very unusual and totally funky

If she has green thread, she'll most certainly do it.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Looks great Ryan.StrappedUp wrote:. . . . .

This combo wasn't on the site, they had black w/red stitching and brown w/orange stitching so I emailed and asked if she could do black/orange ... not a problem
I reckon it'd look superb on the protochrono w/lime stitching

Here's my sole Martu strap, bit of a test purchase which turned out well.
Yes, I'd buy again.

Re: Martu Straps
Here's one of mine, been wearing it most of the day. Very comfy for such a thick strap - far, far superior to the CW Pilot strap I had on the C11 a while ago and under half the price of that one. I'll buy from Martu again...... as long as I'm not in a rush

Out of interest, did you manage to chop down the keeper? A couple of mine have the wide keeper.
