Six pieces have been sold in the secondary market for about 50% of original. You will just have to be aware.

Whilst my initial reaction was "ouch", there are plenty of other watches out there that lose 50% on the second hand market!Kip wrote:Six pieces have been sold in the secondary market for about 50% of original. You will just have to be aware.

And don't forget to get the cufflinks too!ddav wrote:All 3 models are quartz.garindan wrote:You know how much your comment will cost me ???Kip wrote:
There are actually 3 models.
The '5' back case is for the automatic model ?
The 5 case back is part of an original Aston race car body panel.

You could say there is actually 4 versions I have one of the first C70 DBR1 released an it had a missing marker. Could have had it changed but decided to keep it. You never know it could become PRICELESS

Re: C70 DBR1 Review on Horology Crazy
We don't actually know how many of these slipped through, but we do know the initial run of the GP DBR1 was 50 pieces. The misprint was corrected after that.

That's one of the reasons I like my C70 Brooklands COSC so much, it has the missing "87" marker too.

Re: C70 DBR1 Review on Horology Crazy
You are correct Ferg. It was the same situation as the DBR1.
