Christopher Ward C11 Makaira Pro 500 review.

Post by tattoo chef »

I hope linking this here is okay.
I would copy and paste, but with all the formatting and color coding etc I do with the reviews, copying it here is a bear and I have to edit out all of the coding etc.

If this violates anything please delete.

Great review!

And loving the quality and vast selection of photos. Anyone contemplating the purchase could only appreciate such an array of pics. Well done.

I don't like that. I now have to think about the choice between the C11 Makaira pro and the C60 for my first CW watch...

Thanks for the comments.
A nice watch to review, and a nice watch for sure. Great crystal and dial.

Great review thanks, I've been deciding on whether to go for one of those for a couple of weeks now. Unfortunately I think you have made my mind up that this will be too big for my skinny wrists, oh well the orange bezel trident has just jumped up a place :D

Myself, I bought the Makaira first to put on leather/alligator and plan on the C60 this Christmas with the bracelet. So get one, then the other!

Another great C11 review on WatchFreeks! I agree at first it was a little underwhelming. I was like...there it is. The silicone does it no favors. After wearing it several days and imagining it on alligator, I began to love it. Still don't fancy the bracelet as of yet...too much metal for me; alligator will make it look f**kin' rich! Overall, nice review. Pictures could indeed be sharper. Several grammar errors:

also, can the internal bezel be used under water without effecting the integrity of the watch? I know you should never change the time or date, but is it ok to alter the timer?

To answer your questions...the 0 on the dial..still not sure why why did it , except to be different.

As far as the internal bezel, since it is not a screw down crown and has seals in it to protect from water I see no reason you can't use underwater. It's a dive watch so shouldn't be an issue.
