Went to see this Pink Floyd tribute band a couple of weeks back. Whilst not the real thing, they were absolutely fantastic and far better than I anticipated. Watching the videos on their website, they’re far better than those too!
They have a new lead singer, Booby Harrison, who has previously toured with Brit Floyd and the Australian Pink Floyd, who really brought the band together and vocally was very impressive. They needed two lead guitarists to create the sound of the great Dave Gilmour, but musically were spot on.
If they’re touring near you, I’d highly recommend seeing them.

The lead singer sounds interesting, he's been in a fine pair of bands though.TPS10 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 11:43 am https://www.ukpinkfloydexperience.com/

I've seen a cover band named Pearl Jamm a few times. They're superb!

Earlier this afternoon;- Meddle by Pink Floyd on (original) 1970s Vinyl . . (complete with a few ticks and crackles)
.
.
. . having just wired a pre-amp to my record deck (also 1970s) to be able to play my record collection on the HiFi.
Comparing the reproduction with the same album played from my phone (320mbps mp3) via Bluetooth it is noticeably richer with more depth and oomph to the mid-range and bass from Vinyl.

Great listening Guy, Pink Floyd getting themselves together after the earlier experimentation, and leading up to the masterpieces of 'Dark Side' and 'Wish you were here'.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 9:05 pm Earlier this afternoon;- Meddle by Pink Floyd on (original) 1970s Vinyl . . Agree on the sound of vinyl, having recently brought out my Rega deck and preamp after a few years in hibernation. Just been listening to this:
CW C7 Rapide / Breitling Top Time + Superocean / Laco Memmingen
Tissot PRS516 Auto + PRS516 Chrono / Seiko Padi Turtle

Cheers Nigel. Still got my Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here LPs; might get them played tomorrow.
Ordered three of my favourite Joe Bonamassa albums on vinyl, this evening.
Will be interesting to compare them and also have 'new' vinyl LPs, couple of them heavyweight 180g pressings.

As a scot, I do tend to like the odd bagpipe tune or two.
Just found these guys and am very impressed.

Yes, saw them live in Aberdeen, but I don't think the venue was right. It's apparently notoriously bad acoustics for anything related to bagpipes.
I much preferred these guys, who I heard at a wedding.
