Well, the two-wheel brigade have their thread, and we occasionally interlope, so why not a thread for the Shanks' Pony regiment?

I went on one of my favourite walks today - very lucky to have such open and largely empty country within a mile or so of Château d'Avo.

Thanks, Richard. The Lumix hasn't seen a great deal of action since I bought it as a birthday present to self last August. Seemed like a good day to take it out.

Lovely walking area, Steve. You’re lucky to live close by. Great pictures too.

It would be if it wasn't a C65 Trident Diver. :escape:

But, yeah, the sentiment is appreciated.

@AVO - some lovely countryside you have there Steve, and looking suitably spring like.

Well, I just think this watch's dial layout is what one sees in the typical 'field' watch..not that I have a problem w/ that look, I own 2 of them!!..

Cheers, Guy. Here's some I took on March 21st - not so good as they were on my iPhone. Just actually looking at the things around me...
I've walked past this nice little post box hundreds of times, and realised it has been there for 110-120 years. I wonder how it got damaged and how many coats of PO red paint it has had?

Here's a strange number by someone's gate. Double Hogwarts Espresso, anyone?

This buttress on our local church...could be two medieval saints in the right light! Or maybe candles?

This pretty little stained glass roundel is on the side wall of a local shop. Again, I've walked past it hundreds of times.

Seems a long time ago now, when I last took a walk around Scarborough Castle & Whitby Abbey, two of English Heritage’s best properties in North Yorkshire.
