watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

The Super-compressor for me, but not due to the size, but a combination of the bright orange elements, matching rubber strap and the eyeball white inner bezel.
It's probably my most commented on CW watch already, and without being out and about as normal.

Surprisingly probably this, not the biggest though not small. Probably the combination of colour, the 'wobble' , large dial as no bezel and quite tall. Definitely no match for the Marathon.

It’s got to be my Bremont Alt1 ZT/51. I’ve not gone silly with watch sizes and 43mm is as big as I’ve been. The short lug to lug helps reduce the size and the fantastic Bremont Trip tick case hides the 16mm height.
I’ve worn it on a wide variety of straps, but the one in this photo is the original vintage leather it was supplied on and is thicker than your average premier league footballer.

For me it is the Lunar Pilot. It is a beastie at 45mm diameter and 52.5mm lug to lug. You definitely know it is on the wrist!

Was thinking my C9 AM GT LE for the height and you do know you are wearing it but for wrist presence it's definitely my C11 Titanium Elite.

Another shout for Bremont with the ALT1-WT. Not overly big as some of the examples above, but with a case diameter of 43mm, lug width 22mm and a case thickness of 16mm it certainly does get noticed.

Then there’s always the 2500 Planet Ocean, 45.5mm in diameter and 17mm thick case. Arguably one of the best divers ever produced.

Re: You know you’re wearing it...
My first real watch still has the biggest presence on my wrist thanks to being a shiny square with a 24mm bracelet.
Doesn't look as big as it used to thanks to starting cycling and a manual job rather than sitting in an office so maybe I could consider bigger watches - oberonfoto

My Bremont 247 chrono, 43mm case width but 18mm tall. That's not slipping sveltely under a cuff anytime soon (not my pic). I thought my Trident Chrono was big...

Re: You know you’re wearing it...
During my "I'll try anything" times I acquired a NFW Viperfish.
It was just a little bit bonkers - 48mm case, 18.5mm thick, 13.5 ounces in weight, but very well made. It wore quite well but you definitely knew it was on the wrist.
How big ? It dwarfed my 45mm PO.
The PO is so small (!!) that you could actually hide it inside the unadjusted bracelet of the Viperfish
Either it needed one or two links removing or I'd have to make a bulk purchase of horse steroids and get down the gym. As neither of those were going to happen it didn't last long .
