Proud dad bragging a bit
My son received his first college acceptance today! I’m thrilled for him and everything he’s worked for.

I know that feeling Andrew! Proud seems to not cover that feeling properly
Congratulations to your son!

He wants to study business, more specifically finance. He’s got a real entrepreneurial spirit.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 4:03 pm Good stuff, Andrew - congratulations to him! What will he study?

Relief indeed! He’s only applied to three schools, and earlier this week he got a rejection from one. So the timing of this acceptance could not have been better!

Congratulations. I think finance makes a lot of sense in the world we live in currently. If I went back and started over, that’s what I’d study.jkbarnes wrote:He wants to study business, more specifically finance. Re: Proud dad bragging a bit
With his interest in business and finance, my parents and I have decided to fund a brokerage account for him as a graduation gift. As part of that I’m going to ask him to wrap his modest collection of savings bond into that account to give him some personal “buy in.” It seems like a perfect gift, and I think he’ll really enjoy them whole experience of managing his own modest investments.Robotaz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 6:07 pmCongratulations. Tell him I’ll be his first customer, but I want an expert in call options. I’ll do the homework if he’ll just use the mechanical and computer skills he learns.jkbarnes wrote:With his interest in business and finance, my parents and I have decided to fund a brokerage account for him as a graduation gift.
