No, simply because I don't have them yet.

My 'Birthday Watch' is a treat and gets 'written off' in my books.
The other 'major purchase' needs to, eventually, be funded from within my collection.
Guy
This is an excellent idea: one special birthday watch per year, and everything else has to be funded through churn. That keeps the collection in check, whilst allowing for a small expansion tied to a special event. Very sensible.
Looking forward to seeing what you have incoming.

I am trying to imagine a pic of Guy wearing a PP24 with a diamond bezel. Not a good look!

Quite right Neil.
I'm certainly not wearing a bloody Ladies watch.

Right. Excellent. Chronographs are always a good guess with you, Guy.
Now, something that you don’t think we have seen on the forum before. Well, that certainly cuts out a fair number of candidates.
Let’s get another important question out of the way. Is it Swiss?

Some Swiss parts, but not Swiss made.

For clarity the Chronograph is Bicompax and the case is not 45mm (a different size).

Right. That deals with my first theory, which was one of the more esoteric versions of the Speedmaster.
Swiss parts, not Swiss company. So thinking of the brands I know Guy likes, my hunch antenna is swinging towards a British based company, with a strong “English” connection. I’m going to take a punt on Bremont and if I’m wrong I’ll shut up for a while.
Is it a Bremont?

The one I had in mind was a chronograph, with Swiss parts from a British brand, in a 42mm case.
However as you have said it’s a bicompax, my guess is certainly wrong.
