This is by far my favourite Breitling of all time and is the only I've pondered for the collection

I agree 100%, Jon.
Not a fan of Breitling usually, but this is simply gorgeous. One of the best looking chronos out there in my very humble opinion.
However, I doubt if I'll ever be pondering about adding it to my collection. Bit out of my price range!
I can still admire though.

A very good loooking chrono, a perfectly symmetrical and relatively clean face for a chrono.

For about £1k less though, I'd still probably be tempted to go for a watch that uses essentially the same movement. The Tudor S & G chrono, which also fulfills my liking for a bit of gold.

I saw one of these in an ad's window in Liverpool and it caught my eye. Unfortunately slightly too small for my liking but a very attractive piece all the same.

What's your ideal size Jos? It is still a fairly decently sized watch - 41mm and 50mm L2L.

43 ish. My only current exception to this is my c9 moon phase which I can/do forgive it's non-optimal dimensions given its beauty.

Although beautiful, the premier b01 just isn't quite beautiful enough to warrant the expenditure currently.

Very, very nice, and not the sort of description I would generally use for describing a Breitling!

It is lovely in blue as well - and I quite like this version also. Why all this temptation - why? why?

I wondered if it was one of their Bentley tie ups as the dial has the look of a walnut dash and the strap has the quilted leather of a luxury car seat.

Yes it is - the Bentley centenary limited edition.

In stock at Watches of Switzerland, and there’s a 5% cash back on Amex with purchases at WoS.

So close to pulling the trigger!
