Re: Coronavirus

Post by stefs »

Lisa’s lovely mum Mo lives in a brilliant care home that are super cautious over their covid rules. A week before christmas they had to send her into hospital although they tried not to because of the risks. We were delighted when mum was discharged back to the home on Christmas eve so she would not be in hospital for Christmas. Sadly on Tuesday she was tested prior to being vaccinated the next day. The hospital sent her home without her bottom dentures but to make up they did give her the new strain of coronavirus.
She passed away in the early hours of this morning. We are devastated and so are the wonderful staff at our care home. Mo is their only covid victim and they could do nothing about it other than give her the love we couldnt during her last couple of days.

Thank you to all the selfish scum that think the rules dont apply to them and choose to bend the rules at will with self declared support bubbles and the like.

A terrible end to a terrible year and an even worse start to the new one.

Sad times in the stefs household today :(

Very sorry to hear that Paul. I can't imagine how wrenching it must be to have been so close to having the beneficial effects of the vaccine. Deepest condolences to the family.
