Not a prayer mate so you’ll be able to get a few digs back soon I reckon. If you give it you have to be able to take it

England, immense! Australia are not a bad side, powerful in attack, but made a lot of errors and are being made to look average.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Good performance. They were able to retain to control despite Australia coming back hard at them at times.
Great performances in the forwards. And in the backs Jonny May is deadly at the moment. I still think they are better with Ford at 10 though.
The main blot was Elliot Daly who had an awful game, particularly in defence. I like him as a player but he was heavily exposed today and NZ (or Ireland) will target that next week.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Australia were so bad. Absolutely no game plan - genuinely not a clue what they were trying to do.
Underhill/Curry could be incredible - assuming Underhill stays fit (and B.Curry is a like for like for Tom!).
England did the job they needed to do. Tougher test next week, regardless of opposition.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Good performance by England. The All Blacks looked pretty formidable though so will be a much tougher hurdle next weekend.
I'm looking forward to watching tomorrow, hopefully a win for Japan.

Stupide garçon!
Entertaining game, but as usual Les Bleus have only themselves to blame.
Looking forward to the next one!

Re: Rugby World Cup
Yes very comfortable 1 point victory.
I feel a bit sorry for France, a moment of madness by Vahaamahina. I also thought France could and should have built a bigger lead just before half time after Moriarity was sin binned.
I'm also not totally convinced the ball didn't go forward for Wales's match winning try, although the video wasn't conclusive which I assume is why the referee awarded the try.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Patrick, I agree France should have won based on their performance before the red card. But they shot themselves in the foot, not just with the red card, but when they started to time-waste with 25 minutes to go - that put them in the wrong mindset and allowed Wales to come back at them.
I have no idea what you're talking about on the match-winning try. Ahem.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Bloody hell, those anthems! Hairs on the neck or what?
I was predicting a narrow Welsh victory, though not quite the way it happened. I thought they would come from behind by didn’t of been the better team in the last 20 minutes.
I think Japan will throw the sink at South Africa, but I don’t think there will be quite enough in the tank to cope with those forwards later in the game. But we shall see, here we go.
