still lurking.....
hi everyone
i've been in hospital over a year now, and that makes me nearly queen B on the ward... patients now say to me 'oh sorry - i took your seat!
nobody really expected this last year, but the depression won't shift for now (i've been on four different antidepressants), and i've been experiencing far weirder symptoms like doing some fairly complex things but without any memory at all of having done them.......
the staff here are absolutely incredible - mental health nursing is hugely challenging, and the burn-out rate is high since mental health services are now run on a shoestring......
anyhow - i'm enjoying my current pride and joy which is a tissot day / date which has the day written out in full at the top of the dial. i need all the help i can get!! (i feel asleep right after tea one evening, woke up at 8.15 and went through for breakfast. Half an hour later i asked what had happened to breakfast and some set me straight - it was 8.15 PM and not AM !!
i'm struggling to read much just now but i do drop in from time to time
catch up with you all soon!
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Good to hear from you Lindsey.
Stay safe and hang on in there.
Do you get to wear your SKX013 at all, along with your Tissot?

Re: still lurking.....
hi Guy - I wore *so far* the skx013 for at least 8 months as a one-watch. The tissot has taken over as one-watch for now, but there's nothing to beat the SKX013 for EVERYTHING - functionaity v practicality, big bang for buck, great looks, and it really does what it says it does. i think it looks great on bracelet or rubber, but at the moment i've got it on a barton canvas strap and it looks amazing! i was wearing this watch when i was barely moving in my bed, and eventually the watch stopped. i feel likee we went through that bit togetherBahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:03 pm

I had no idea of your situation MissF, I just assumed you'd come and gone like many do.
Sorry to hear about things, but there is always light at the end of a tunnel and I sincerely hope you can see it soon.
Take care, and keep us posted on things
