Anyone seen UncleDicky?

Post by EddieTheBeast »

It appears that UncleDicky has disappeared! I currently have a watch OHPF for him However, he had been off work with flu and was waiting for pay from a big contract he'd been working on. The last I heard from him was a forum message on19th February in which he said:
the flipping chest infection and flu I have had has turned into pneumonia, fortunately I am being treated at home with nebuliser, O2 and antibiotics
In the same message he also stated:
Anyway, I wanted to reassure you that none of this changes my position with the Trident, I still want it and will be able to send funds next week.
The last message he sent to the forum was on 22nd February. I am worried about one of our own.

Has anyone been in touch with UncleDicky?

Any advice on what to do with the watch I have OHPF - how long should I wait before I offer it to someone else?

I was in contact with UncleDicky in the first week of March and believe all was good with him.

As can be seen in his User Profile, he last logged into the forum on Saturday 9th March.

As @avo has suggested, have you sent him a PM, which you will be able to see when he reads it?

He was going to buy my Samurai at the beginning of Feb but then disappeared and his promises were vague so I didn't mark it on hold and sold it elsewhere.

Perhaps he's gone deep undercover as a camp 1970s private investigator?

Well hopefully he is in good health and that is not the reason for his absence.

Good news: I’ve had a message from UncleDicky this morning. He has been in hospital over the last few weeks, but is a lot better now.

Good to have you back again Richard!

Richard (UncleDicky) has been in contact with me too.

Seems that he had, as he referred to 'a close call', but is recovering well and now back @ home.

Sincerely wishing him all the best for a continued recovery.
