Feel better today. Did some lightweight chores, ironing &c. this morning. Feeling a bit stir crazy so went for a light workout and sauna to iron out a few kinks.

Picked up an outrageous ribeye from Tesco’s reduced fridge. Going to have it with chips and a couple of glasses of Merlot.

Might help me to sleep. Whatever, my appetite is back!

Do these work ? I've never had 1 but was offered 1 this year being of a certain age (!). I didn't take up the offer but always wonder if I should have.

Do you get slight flu symptoms with the jab?

I have a flu jab every November with no problems.

Luckily, I've never experienced The Flu.

I had a flu jab back in November and have been fine. No symptoms after the jab, just a very slightly sore arm (like it was bruised) afterwards.

Son had flu just before Christmas, spent three days in bed, Christmas lunch got postponed as he had no appetite, and it was only in the New Year when he felt better and stopped coughing.

Anyone thinking of getting a jab needs to do it this year. September onwards.

Sympathies to those who have, or have had, it and are recovering.

Belgarath would give you scant sympathy Steve, although I’m sure you’ll find hm entertaining :) , However I can say that a 2 week long dose of the flu in 2000 is what made me get a flu shot each and every year since then... Highly recommended!

I think Ariana would be the best one to target for a little TLC, Gary.

Ouch! The flu is nothing to sneeze at (weak pun intended). A lot of people say they’ve probably had the flu. No. When you’ve had the real deal you know it for sure.
Keep well hydrated.
