Yes, Lewis won his Schumacher equalling sixth World Championship but would have been more difficult had Ferrari been better on strategy etc.

Remarkable that their, Ferrari's, no 2 Charles LeClerc's performance so comprehensively eclipsed that of five times World Championship winner Sebastian Vettel.

Might there yet be a twist in the tail from this season? Sebastian's body language at Abu Dhabi was remarkably, how can it be put, deflated. Will he be driving next season or walk away, as Nico Rosberg did a couple of years ago?

Great season for Lewis, Guy. Schumacher won 7 F1 titles though so Lewis still needs another to tie...hopefully next season.

A bit of "IF and ANDs" in that statement of if Ferrari had been better on strategy. Would also have been more difficult if other teams had more powerful engines and better handing but they don't.

Just reading that Lawrence Stroll, Lance’s father, may be bidding to acquire Aston Martin. Lance driving a Red Bull next year?

Seemingly he's part of a consortium that wants to buy a major stake in AM.

If they succeed let's hope it doesn't mean Lance in a Red Bull.

Not only an excellent drive this season, but Lando is a thoroughly nice young man and a great team mate and buddy to Carlos Sainz Jnr.

It was definitely good to see such a historic team as McLaren really move forward this season. Red Bull also were maybe more competitive than expected too (Max Verstappen did finish third in the drivers championship after all, ahead of both Ferraris). It bodes well for a more competitive next few years if we have more teams vying for podiums.

. . . . and a part of the good performance by Red Bull was the coming good of Honda as a PowerTrain provider.

Maybe we should start an F1 2020 thread, but in the meantime, Charles Leclerc has signed with Ferrari for the next five years (to 2024).

What next for Sebastian Vettel?

I think Ricciardo will take the second Ferrari seat in 2021.
