I’m watching this F1 race with my son, who is a huge fan. I think I’m hooked!

It's a shame Max retired. Seeing Vettel spin is a standard thing. Also Merc out in front with pace in hand....

Pleased for Lando, shame for Albon and Max. Lewis will probably be in a mood for the next week.

That was quite exciting. I think I’m an F1 fan now and will be watching regularly with my son. It was a great father/son bonding moment this morning.

Incredible race, best for ages. Gutted for Albon but he needs to learn patience especially racing against drivers who will squeeze him.

Enthralling race and congratulations to #4 Lando for his first Podium; with fasted final lap of race to negate Lewis's 5 seconds penalty.

Lest not forget a sterling drive from Carlos too.

Excited for the rest of the season. :D

PS> I think Mercedes missed a trick to let Lewis overtake Valtteri and get a <5 sec lead, Valtteri would still win but it would protect 2nd for Lewis.

Very interesting race, if they are all like this I won’t be complaining.

I think LH was slightly unlucky with that last penalty. I’ve seen them declared racing incidents in the past.

Who noticed F1's upgraded graphics and timing details?

The overlay display, using the arc of the HALO has now got far more and much clearer info, including a central rectangular screen that flips between a G-meter, rear view camera and something else.

On the timing side, they are making better use of 'delta' times and it was great to see the gap between Lewis and Lando ebb and flow over the last lap or two.

I can't imagine he believes they can challenge for the championship, so he's probably raking it in while he still can.
