Shame Daytona was a bit of a wash-out, but Alonso certainly showed his class in the wet!

Remember when Mclaren was a premium F1 brand, with only premium sponsors?

I find the whole Rich Energy thing fascinating. I hope Haas don't end up with energy drink egg on their face.

Story on Autosport running with the headline - Doubting Haas F1 backer Rich Energy is like 'denying moon landing'.

From the Rich Energy CEO...
"We think we've got a better product and brand than Red Bull and it's fantastic to be able to compete with them on and off track."
Personally I don't drink the stuff, but a better brand than Red Bull???

You can't buy their product in shops. They don't seem to have global distributors, staff, marketing or even mass production.

They stole a logo from a bike company and added some mini antlers to try and disguise it. All their social media presence is poor attempts at placing some cans on or near things.

I think Williams did well to steer clear. If you've not seen the documentary on Netflix about the Fyre Festival, I highly recommend it and this Rich Energy product feels of a similar calibre.

If you're really bored and fancy a lengthy read... https://forums.autosport.com/topic/2116 ... ch-energy/
