Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
It's a great launch/testing livery isn't it, shame we won't see it raced.
I'd also forgotten we'll see more rear lights (in addition to the rain light - not brake lights!) this season until I saw their shakedown shots:

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
Must admit Alfa have got a different take on their front wing design which, having watched a tech-analysis video on Autosport is an interesting concept.
On the up side, It might just work. On the down side, its easily copied (except so much of the front wing design is aimed at blending in and influencing the airflow over the rest of the car its perhaps not as simple as one might think to change the design fundamentally).
On a different note; Formula E is racing tomorrow (Saturday) in Mexico, using part of the Grand Prix circuit.
Lights out 22:00hrs GMT.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few discrete Brazilian flags on cars this year as its 25 years since the death of Senna

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
If they're for real I can't see them lasting long in some races and if they are really needed for speed or stability then the team had better have plenty of them available at each race.

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
Red Bull and Alfa Romeo have released details of their liveries for this season.
No need for pictures, they're the same as last year's.
Why do they bother showing us attractive, interesting and different launch liveries, only to revert to the same old?
