Anybody else nearly having a heart attack when those Xmas lightbulbs explode!

Yes it can give you a bit of a shock if the volume is up too high on the PC and you aren't expecting it!

My grandkids jumped when they first heard them smashing, then they took turns on the computer reaking mayhem on those lights.

:oops: Not as much as when I had the great idea to use a sample of father Jack Hackett shouting ‘am I still on this f*kin island?’ as the boot up audio of my work PC many years ago- my work colleague being unaware of the change decided to crank up my amplifier to full for a giggle (bearing in mind he was in his late 30’s at his point)- so said audio rang out across the whole office...on the day we had visitors in :oops:
Never have I scrambled for a volume control so quick- or removed a file from a computer so rapidly :shock:

A few exploding light bulbs? Meh!

I had a similar episode. My PC used to have a hysterical scream as the start-up sound. A really awful horrific scream. I was supporting a serious sales meeting when I was asked to use my PC as the main one had failed. Didn't go well!
