The Scrambler does look good I have to admit.
Great to see the Cheshire chapter of the Hells Angels out and about.

Very tempted by the Scrambler, scooter, and still working on the man-maths of trading the CB1100...
As for the Cheshire chapter, yup, we have me, a lawyer and a retired head teacher. Hard-core, or what?
We did have a slightly off-piste section today - a consequence of relying on a sat-nav...

^^^ Some lovely scenery down your way, scooter.
Today, I did a deal on a lightly used Triumph Scrambler, so the Honda will be departing in a week or two:

^^ That looks fun! Did you consider the R9T Scrambler?

Yes - although only briefly. The shaft drive/boxer was attractive but the ergonomics didn’t suit me very well. The Triumph felt like a great fit for me, and that was a major driver. That and the torque.richtel wrote:^^ That looks fun! Did you consider the R9T Scrambler?

Top notch, Richard.
That looks characterful and like a bike built for fun. Enjoy.

PS> Looked up the spec; 1200cc, 110Nm, 90PS that's totally indecent.

Thanks chaps.
@Guy, yes the peak torque figure is available at a relatively low 3950rpm too, which makes up for the relatively modest power output.
By contrast my BMW GS has 136PS and 143NM of torque but the peak torque doesn’t arrive until 6250 rpm.

Thanks Richard.
I think, as you have alluded to already, it must make for a very relaxed riding style.
