Grosjeans thought he'd been hit ( by Ericsson) perhaps it was a gust of wind that upset the grip at the rear?

Tweet from Red Bull a couple of hours ago;-

"There are no Team orders here, but you've got to keep it clean. No blame on either driver, both race hard and want to win.

An #AzerbaijanGP to forget for us today... but both drivers' have apologised and we all move on to Spain!"

The Stewards concluded that both were to blame and both have been reprimanded.

I think Bottas spun while weaving under the safety car somewhere last year. It was a proper race track though, not a street circuit with walls to punish the mistake.

I read an explanation from Grosjean last night where he explained he accidently knocked a switch on his steering wheel to the wrong brake balance setting, that caused the rears to lock up, and BANG...

Lucky win for Lewis masked the fact that Ferrari still has the strongest car this year, Vettel would have cruised home without the SC, although a good move by Mercedes to split strategy as Ferrari did to them is Australia was only scuppered by bad luck for Bottas. The LH/SV luck has now been balanced up but unless Mercedes can get on top of the tyre utilisation problem and widen their cars operating window it could be a long old season staring at the back of Vettels car.

Rather embarrassingly Ive done this during a karting session before. Highly embarrassing

Nice to see Kubica getting an outing in FP1 today.
See Williams have "parted company " with their chief designer. Not a massive surprise given their poor start (they're behind Sauber for God's sake). However how much would it help to have had an experience team mate to get a reference and feed back from?
