Members' Photo Thread

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

This new thread (April '17) is intended for members to post their best photographs (and of course make nice comments!)

The photos can be of pretty much anything that is appropriate, but they must be by (or of) members. No watches, please...cars and pets if you really want to, but they have their own mega-threads.

To stop it getting messy we need a few simple rules:

1. No watch pics, please...they belong elsewhere
2. No "borrowed" (copy/paste) internet images
3. No links - photos must be visible as images (use the IMG tags)
4. No Photoshopped images (a little enhancement is fine but no added images
5. Only one image per post, please. This is to stop folk from quoting a post with multiple images
6. Non-conforming posts and broken links will be deleted

Enjoy the thread. :D

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

^^^ Those marina pictures always give me a yearning for travel (and I don't mean MAN-MUC)!

Here's one from my iPhone - testing the macro function in my garden last weekend:

The best bit is the bemused expression on the face of the youngster in the background. :D
