I'll need to remind myself how to do it!

Yep I can't believe I booked in early, only the second time in only 20yrs. I was gutted and if the rally hadn't already been a horror it would have been so much worse.

I used to rally a few years ago, started out doing 12 cars, then night rallies, then progressed to single venue stage rallying. I drove a Mk1 Ford Escort.

Now I photograph mainly short oval racing, I am the 'official' photographer at a local track, here are a few photos from the meeting on May 14th.

Quite lucky to live 20mins from Snetterton

We're going to the GT3 race next weekend and then the BTCC

I went to Le Mans in 2015 and loved it!

Quick update. 2nd in class and 17 overall on 3rd round of British Rally Championship this weekend. I'll take that.

Few weekends off until I go back to my roots and compete on a rally I actually usually organise, the Abingdon Car-Nival. A single venue, airfield, rally.

If anyone in the Oxon/Berks area of the UK is interested in this or the Maharajas Tour let me know. Come along and watch or take part if so inclined.

Just had a flutter on the Indy 500, especially as I can now watch it live thanks to a BT Sport offer I found last week.

Haven't bet a huge amount, but have money on the following:

Alex Rossi (last years winner and starts 3rd)
Helio Castroneves (won 2001, 2002 & 2009 and starts 19th)
Ed Jones (British and starts 11th)
Max Chilton (British and starts 15th)

If Fernando wins then that would be fantastic, both for him and the sport but I don't have money on him.

No worries if none of the above win on Sunday, I just hope we have no major incidents - already had one in qualifying with Sébastien Bourdais suffering from a fractured pelvis and hip from qualifying last weekend.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Well done to Sato, bets almost came in with all four finishing and took 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Good race nonetheless.

Oh dear Honda, your big F1 name exiting your big US event for the same reason he didn't want to race the big F1 event on the same day!

Some tense racing and some spectacular crashes in the 500. Enjoyed it.
