I’m guessing it was more than just a mini adventure.

Yes, test drive done and it's a nice car. Big for a mini, but not massive either. Reasonably nippy, interesting noise from the exhausts depending on what mode - not sure whether the sound is real or through the sound system. Dealer we'll and truly stumped however as we've been offered a good lease deal on it and they were more than double the monthly cost and nothing they can do.

So it'll probably be a high spec mini, or a mid spec Octavia DSG. Both are nice cars and good deals (dealers hate me!).
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Looks like the Mini has turned into a Vauxhall Astra, but if anyone in the UK is after a great deal on the Mini Countryman Cooper S Auto then PM me and I'll forward you the details. Sorry Ferg, looks like no mini for us.

Ah well no harm mate.
Glad you enjoyed them that's the main thing.
Glad you got a good deal on the Astra.

I'm the same regarding dealers hating seeing me coming as I always go for the juggler price/deal wise too.
My eldest brother on the other hand is hopeless and perfect dealer fodder as pays whatever they ask, never haggles or asks for stuff to be thrown in.....

Bought some Christmas prezzies for my MINI.

JCW Pro mirror caps and a JCW Grille.

Absolutely delighted with them, has given the car a fantastic new look.

Looks very fetching Ferg! Interesting to see that it matches the wheel caps too.

Funny how little changes can make a heck of a difference.
