Guests of the Ayatollah by Mark Bowden
A Random Walk Down Wall Street
Rise and Fall of the Third Reich
I wish I had more time to read (and do all of my other hobbies!)

Just started "Breaking Point", the latest Joe Pickett novel by CJ Box.
The main character in these books has a life that is just about the polar opposite of my own, in a part of the USA I've never visited. It is total escapism and really allows me to block out the rest of the rabble on LH123 from Dusseldorf.

You are totally right though. Maybe I'd read more if I did some lighter reading.. it's one of those obvious things that I'd never even considered.

I've read "Back of Beyond" and enjoyed it immensely, may have to start the Joe Pickett series.
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

Winston's war by Max Hastings. Great book for getting a better understanding of Churchill, warts and all. Exciting too. Even though we know how it will end.

Re: What book are you reading
Finished The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry some time ago and thought it was excellent.
Moved onto Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and it is probably my most favorite book right now (might have something to do with being an 80s child) certainly worth checking out.
Now three quarters way through The company of the dead......and struggling big time, has at least 250 useless pages
Might move on to snow crash by Neal stephensen(?). Books are great.

I miss all the great things that may never be.
