An interesting birthday coincidence

Post by Lavaine » Tue Dec 18, 2012 8:08 am

This month I have been enjoying a Beer Advent Calendar. Like a regular Advent calendar, but every day has a different European craft beer previously not available in Canada. Some hits, a few misses, but all in all a very enjoyable experience.
Well, today was my birthday. I was tickled to open the window this morning and pull out this Vienna Lager:

The coincidence? I was born in 1970, 700 years after the brewery was established. What are the chances that this beer would find its way into the calendar on this day.

Beer Advent Calendar? What a splendid idea!
That one was obviously meant for you. I hope it was a good one. And...

happy B.day
To the UK the forum time zone adjustment on the your post makes it look like you're drinking beer before 7am , reenforced with "tickled to open the window this morning and pull out this Vienna Lager" :D

24 bottles of beer, each with their own glass? That's a BIG Advent Calendar! :D

Pictures okay. More important is "where can I get one?"
