Re: LE 2009 delivery date?
Mine has gone back today to be swapped out, that's the bad news.
The good news is that I now have the anticipation all over again whilst I await its return. That, and the fact that when it comes back it will be on a bracelet too.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a brown alligator strap for it now as well.

Ideal number of watches in your collection = current number of watches + 1...

Now I know why you were so generous with No. 13Kip wrote:Number one has arrived!
Well deserved and a true indication of how much effort you put into this Forum.

Thanks to Hans for graciously allowing me to have number 1. As a result I was able to make 13 available.

So long as the camera is now working..some photos of my LE.
It has arrived in flawless condition and has been worth the wait IMO. What a value!
And a quick group shot of my CWL family.....my new Avatar! The photo isn't great but it works for the avatar.

Re: LE 2009 delivery date?
Great shots again!
Kip, I can see in your avatar/group shot that you have a couple of C4's and a C40. I would really appreciate a side-by-side comparison of a C4 and C40. Now you have your photo-shooting eyes on, it should not be too much trouble? Thanks in advance.

Re: LE 2009 delivery date?
Picked mine up today from the post office, will need to put it on a leather strap because of the way the bracelet makes the case a fair bit longer (like how the c4/C6 does), so with it on the steel it looks too big a a bit silly on my tiny wrist, other than that, the watch looks, feels and is fantastic. By far the best CWL watch I've seen/owned to date.
Re: LE 2009 delivery date?
Kip, is it my imagination or is that the CW logo on those watch stands?
Awesome group shot though, and as Rob said, you deserve number 1. Is that on the brown leather, or gator btw?

Pretty sharp eye there Chris. Yes that is the CWL logo on those stands. I was given those for in return for a favor I did some time ago. They look pretty good with CWL watches!
The strap is a regular brown leather alligator grain.

Re: LE 2009 delivery date?
It may be my lighting in the kitchen but the blue indices look more like sapphires with the slightly lighter blue coming off the beveled edge of the indices - Brilliant. Has anyone else noticed this??? Its just a shame I cant wear it till my new strap turns up.
