Voting for the CW Forum LE 2009

Post by joerattz »

We are now ready to present the options for voting for the Forum LE 2009. Keep in mind that whichever option wins, there will be subsequent polls to nail down a few additional options. The subsequent voting options will be mentioned for each model.

Each option will have an exhibition back. The autos will have an engraved rotor. This poll is open for 21 days.

For clarity, I will list each option here in a format to make it easier to see.

As long as the C5 movement colours is mostly silver, then it should like fine. The hands may need a lot of white to look presentable/readable enough against a backdrop of silver gears.

I don't think anyone who prefers a 38mm case would mind a 40mm if the thickness could be cut down to 9mm or less, but I'm an optimist and maybe a dreamer lol.

Come to think of it a C2 Automatic with blue hands and markers, white dial, no open heart and SS band might look the part.

C2 Auto blue hands, white face, no open heart - sounds perfect!

C5 not for me, as I dislike open heart watches - too showy for my tastes...

C8 is a big watch. I would prefer more subtlety...

Come on C2!!

I was kinda wishing I could change my vote back to the C2 and to my surprise you could. :D

Interesting choices. I'm thinking C2 at the moment, although I wouldn't mind seeing a 44mm C1. No interest in a C5, whatever size, from me I'm afraid.

I take it that the dial on the C1 would be enlarged to suit? Rather than just having a border or large bezel?

Auto C2 for me!
I don't like the C1 anyway and the changes for the C5 don't do it for me.
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....

Do we know what kind of prices the different models may be? This might affect peoples choices?

I have enough autos and a nice hand wound would be nice but the C8 case is very large.I guess it has to be to fit the Unitas 6498 inside but like Carmen63 already mentioned i,m not really inspired by any of them

I went for the C2 but as well as an indication on price any photoshops of what they might look like could help people decide

Auto C2 for me too. Do you think the area where the strap/bracelet goes needs to be changed so off the shelf straps could also be fitted?

glad the c2 is up there on the short list, but I seem to remember the c7 being the clear winner in the first poll, not that I'm to bothered as I voted for the c2 last time.

When are we likely to see pics?????????????????????

Not that much could be done about it now, but what would get your heart racing?
