Here is some natural patina!

Bought this one as "raw" nine months ago, so all the patina has evolved naturally since then. From a bright, shiny bronze color to a beautiful dark tone.
I love it, it has that "old bronze diving helmet" thing going!

It would not be my cup of tea, but it most certainly looks unique!

In respect of the “crusty” looking blue/green stuff, are you happy that it is safe and not toxic to your skin? Also is that stuff stable or does it flake off and get on clothing etc?

How do you go about forcing a patina with ammonia and salt? Is it all just experimentation or have you found others have documented their experiences to use as a guide, and if so would I be able to find them on this forum?
I think it looks great!

Have a Google, you'll find something.

I’ve had my C60 Trident Bronze GMT since Nov 2018 and it was raw when I got it. The patina has developed naturally since then. I was thinking of selling it a few months ago but have started to wear it a bit more and it’s growing on me again.

I must say I quite like the blue colour on the bezel, but not so much on the clasp. I'm actually more likely to depatinate mine though. This was bought in January.

I do not care for the patina. I’ve been dunking my c60 trident bronze in vinegar about once a month for 5 seconds. I tried renaissance wax, but it didn’t seem to slow the process.
