C65 Vintage Black 38mm
Re: C65 Vintage Black 38mm
Richard those are stunning straps and suit that watch so well. Thanks, also, for putting me onto Geckota - lovely straps at very reasonable prices. How did you manage to change the grey and sand coloured straps without time passing? Tardis?

Thanks. When I started, the watch was not running. Sometimes, it's easier to take pictures when the watch is stopped - as it allows longer exposure times. However, in the process of changing straps, the watch decided to start running.
As for Geckota straps, I've had a few and they do offer decent quality for the money.

Which gekota strap is that? The colour appears to be a perfect match for the vintage lume & exactly what I’m after for my c65.
Re: C65 Vintage Black 38mm
It is this one - https://www.watchgecko.com/new-coloured ... -strap.php - with khaki stitch. On the website, the stitch looks a lot darker than in real life (in fact, mine looks closer to the "orange" one on the website, although my order definitely states I bought a khaki).ricardo75 wrote:Which gekota strap is that? One thing to note. The Geckota straps tapers from 20mm to 16mm, whereas the CW straps taper from 20 to 18. So, if you were thinklng of using the black CW buckle on the Geckota strap, it will be too large. There are plenty of low-cost PVD buckles on eBay. I went with this one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371632902486. I also used curved spring-bars, as the holes are quite close to the body in the C65 lugs.

Thanks for the link. Very nice strap. Now I'm thinking of getting a blue onedowner wrote:It is this one - https://www.watchgecko.com/new-coloured ... -strap.php - with khaki stitch. I love the CW green one, doesn't seem to be available anymore or am I missing something?
