This was delivered yesterday, but work and a following night out means I’ve only just opened the box. I think I like this. It’s my first hand wound watch. Size wise it initially feels much the same size as my other watches, which are mostly 42/43mm. It is a lot thinner though. The last photo is beside my C60 COSC for comparrison. That happened to be the watch I was wearing when I opened the box.
If I’d bought a C65 Vintage Diver the day they were launched, I’d probably have bought a blue one. But the more I saw the photos I decided on black. I think the tan strap sets off the vintage markers nicely. No date will take a bit of getting used to. My C1000 is the only other dateless watch I own and I’m still not used to that one not having a date.

I'm extremely jealous Alex !!!!
LOVE this watch
Congratulations mate, interesting to hear how you etc on with it compared to your C60's.
Any chance of a photo dial up next to one of your 43mm C60's ?

Top notch, welcome to the C65 Diver club; although I got mine on the black strap but am primarily wearing it on NATOs.

Great purchase. I’m like you, in that, I initially would have gone for the blue but would now favour the black.

Funny we’ve both thought the same Steve. The Bond NATO look is a good one Guy.
Here you go Ferg. A bit rough and ready, but hopefully you get the idea.

Looks superb Alex.
The comments about colour are interesting as I’m another who preferred the blue on release, but if I were to buy one now (which I wouldn’t mind doing) it’d probably be the black.

Re: New arrival - Black C65 Vintage Diver on tan strap
When at CW they said the blue was about 70% and the black 30% which is why the blue ran out of stock quickly as it surprised CW.
As for the strap I was shown the black on a black strap and it looked a bit ho hum but the guy said it looked better on the camel strap and it did. It really brought out the numbers and markings on the dial.

Nice pick up, looks great, I still fancy the blue myself but I'm on the ubiquitous self imposed moratorium currently but may have to order both if and when I'm in a buying position and send one back under 60/60
