C9 5 Day COSC 40mm

Post by MiniMpi »

I definitely created a thread on my 5 Day when I got it but for the life of me I can't find the thread !

Anyway, I adore the watch especially as it's my first and only SH21 at the moment.

I do love it on the dark navy cordovan strap.
However since I went and put a bracelet strap on my C9 Jumping Hour and how it changed that watch completely for me, I went on a search for a 20mm version of the bracelet strap for my 5 Day.

I probably should have bought one in the clearance section when they were there but I put up a WTB ad and hoped for the best.
Luck would have it that no too long later Brad put his bracelet strap up for sale.
Two or three very kind members pm'd me to let me know and I did a deal with Brad.

Onto this morning and I went about adjusting and fitting the strap.
Firstly I couldn't find the two screwdrivers which I'd put in a very safe place.....too bloody safe as I couldn't find them.
I had other screwdrivers but not the correct ones but I persevered as some were loose from being reattached for sale.
Finally stumbled across the correct screwdrivers which were safe in the box for my bracelet changing tool...... obvious after the fact :)
One screw was of course a right pain to open and I nearly gave up but got it in the end.
Fitting it to the watch was another heart clenching time but eventually I got there too.

Love the look of it and as on my Jumping Hour, it has really transformed the watch.
Pity of course that there is no micro adjustment especially in this current hot spell ! But you get through okay.

So finally the photos ! :)

I like the white dial. I always thought white dials look good on sports models.

I'm attending a Wedding this day week, a Director in the company Louise works for so a very swish affair, 5 star hotel etc.
I was trying to work out what watch to wear for it and it was a toss up between my Jumping Hour and my 5 Day.
5 Day COSC won, should work well. Louise has decided on her W60 Coral.
I'll try and post some photos next week ;)

This looks great! I'm a new CW forums user and I just purchased a C9 with the dark dial. It comes on leather, but I'm going to be looking for a bracelet. Glad to see they are out there to be had!

Thank you.
The bracelets are hard to come by sadly, they were sold off in a clearance sale so CW no longer stock them.
So just the secondary market.

Welcome to the forum and with a few more posts you'll be able to see if there is one in the Sales Corner.
