Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
It's clean looking but for me a little too bare in the top centre space. Otherwise the cream on black on the face works well and good combo with that strap. Thanks for sharing the pics, good to see the new design close up.

Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
Doesn't bother me a bit. As I tell others...it only matters if you like it. As far as this watch is concerned, I find it to be a very refreshing look and a wonderful addition to my collection.reggie747 wrote:A rather deafening silence there Kip. Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
Congratulations Kip
What's the total CW count now ?
I saw this recently at my showroom visit and there is so much more to see up close that you can't see or show on a photo.
The beveled edges look and feel fantastic and really take the watch to another level.
General fit and finish is up too.
I have made known before that the C65 MK2 in both versions isn't for me but it's very impressive in the metal I have to say.

Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
IMO the wrist shot makes it a bit sterile in a Parnis sort of way. Usually I don't mind that but it does also make it bland.
Obviously as said close up there may be subtle finishing touches not seen at a glance or when worn.

Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
Is the finishing a step up over the C60 MKII? It seems with every new model CW keep getting better and better in this area. Anyway it looks very nice. I like the beveled edges. The piece looks like a real vintage model too and reminds me of a 70s Rolex Explorer, especially on the brushed bracelet. It seems like a successful design that is going to sell very well and I certainly fancy one.
I'm getting used to the new logo too. Remember that logos are almost always more subtle in person, despite what the pictures show. If you keep focusing on the logo instead of the watch in real life, something is wrong.

I also saw the Trident Chronograph recently and the case of that also has the beveled edges and looks superb.

Argh...obsession with C65 Vintage...growing...stronger...can...not...resist...
Looks great, Kip! How big is your wrist, if you don't mind me asking? It certainly doesn't look small on you, or anything.

Re: C65 Trident MkII Vintage
It looks really ... vintage-y.
I mean it looks like a real vintage watch. Not a pretend one.
Not sure if that's good or bad yet.
I don't dislike it, but I can't say I love it.

It's good to see the shots but I don't like it, sorry to say. My eyes keep being drawn to the logo as there's not much else to it really.

The case and overall crystal design is great, I just don't really like the watch face.
