Aviator with white hands

Post by Hans » Sat Dec 22, 2007 11:49 am

CWL has made a few Aviators with white hands instead of the original green for a customer. It is possible that by mistake some of you have received such an Aviator with white hands. Christopher Ward gives those of you the choice: if you like it, you can keep it, if not, the Aviator can be swapped for an Aviator with the original green hands.

The white dials are sold out, the black ones not

[edit]: there are 5 black Aviators remaining...

I believe I received one of those today... While the hands look nice, not matching the numbers is a little annoying, so I'll probably be sending it back.

Yep, it would be great if you could post a picture before sending it back!

I also like to see a pic, it's hard to imagine what it looks like.

Ok, here it is... You can definitely see the whiteness of the hands here, not sure if you can see the green on the numbers. You can at least see that they're nowhere near as white as the hands.

Good picture, the hands are def white, I would change it for the green, lots better and in keeping with the watch!

Interesting, but I would also swap it for the original one with green hands

Ya, it just really isn't consistent with the rest of the watch, and in good light, it's very obvious the hands are white and the numbers green.

It would look nice if the numbers where also white, maybe a thought for the C8.
