CWL website photos
Chris has agreed to do this before and there was some chat discussion I believe. In any case, this is the deal.
With all the talk about photo quality Chris has said he will post up some good quality photos on the CWL website product pages from forum members. He is awaiting submissions.
If you have any photos that you feel are worthy, please send to Chris@christopherward.co.uk and include the following:
Send photo(s) in a Jpeg format
State that you are a CWL forum member
Include your forum id
Your real name
Watch serial number
Grant him permission to use the photo
If your photo is used you will be given proper credit.

Re: CWL website photos
Kip,
I guess one other additional 'rule' would be that the watches should be on the standard CW strap?
Chris needs to advertise products he actually sells, not what we think looks nice.....

You can hear heat?village wrote:(by the way..i can hear Ian's camera overheating as we speak )
So you're a beetle then?
Regarding the photo "challenge"... I think this means that I have to buy more watches. It's a great idea.

Alternatively people could just offer their pictures just for the fun of it and the privilege of having them on the website

I am not a good photographer. I can see good pictures and can see artistry in art but I have no talent. My pictures probably wouldn't help

Re: CWL website photos
I wonder whether what we need is an independent "selector" who identifies suitable photos from those posted on the forum and puts them forward.
I guess the only complication is whether folk posting pics on the forum would be happy for them to be used by CWL.
From my own perspective, I find it hard to judge whether some of my photos do or don't really help a prospective buyer, whilst I can happily do that whne looking at someone elses..

Not a bad idea, probably would happen in one form or another anyway.Bonny wrote:I wonder whether what we need is an independent "selector" who identifies suitable photos from those posted on the forum and puts them forward.

I think that the photos on this forum (including yours ) do help prospective buyers, a) because they are so much better than the website pictures, b) because they are so much better than the website pictures and c) because they are...... you get the picture
