Still getting kicked out without logging out. No problem logging in but something amiss in the system somewhere.

Same for me. Every time I reply on a thread, I have to log in again. Certainly not a big deal though, and worth it for the overall improved user experience on my phone.

Have you already tried clearing your cache files?

Yes cleared everything out, not a major issue to log in, just a bit weird that it's started doing this since the maintenance.

Tyke, your problem is still an issue and is being investigated.

The problem jkbarnes is having is different and should be solved by clearing the cache files.

I use a couple of iPads and an iPhone to view the forum - now seem to have to sign in, not all the time, but on a regular basis.

How does one clear the cache on such devices?

Yes box ticked but makes no difference although my saved name and password are retained.

Box reverts as unticked each time it logs me out

I’m using safari on iPhone and iPad and am experiencing frequent requests to re-login.

Today I throughly cleaned both devices; cleared caches, deleted all safari data, deleted the forum ‘remember me’ keys and rebooted both devices.

For a few hours it seemed to improve. However, just now I revisited the forum on my iPad and looked at my unread posts, I’d remained logged in having been away for an hour or two. After viewing one post I attempted to view the next and was logged out whilst I had an active session! Behaviour which to me suggests that the forum is killing sessions for some reason, maybe after some time interval?

I also occasionally use chrome on a windows laptop but don’t seem to have problems there, although I’m using a password manager on it.

I’ve been suspicious that logins from multiple devices might be a factor, so I’ve avoided using chrome on my i* devices and tried to restrict my usage to the iPad but I can’t see any obvious usage pattern that aggravates or improves the problem.

Regardless of clearing cache etc..still a bit hit and miss re. having to randomly keep relogging in (iPads and iPhone).

A bit of a pain, but not a dealbreaker. However what is a dealbreaker is just how slow connecting is when using 4G. On at least 50% of the occasions I have tended to give up, as I haven’t been able to establish a connection and then when I do there is usually a similar delay switching between threads.

I don’t think it’s the strength of the 4G, as no issue before and no issue re. the other watch forum that I frequent on a regular basis.

When I do "quotes" in any reply now it includes the whole of the post I'm quoting from not just the bit that I've highlighted.

Is it me doing something wrong ? (I'm doing the same way as prior to the new version I think)

^^^Don’t quote me on this  but I think it has always quoted entire posts. A pity as it encourages lazy quoting, especially if it’s a post with hundreds of words and several pictures and the respondent just wants to say +1. I have always deleted the parts I don’t want to quote.
