Post by Hans »

Maybe some of you already knew, but I didn't: CWL is using Twitter. Let's follow them and see what is going on:

Interesting. I was just wondering this weekend why CWL did not use RSS feeds and Twitter to get the information out rather than relying on e-mails.

Did you know -
If you subscribe to RSS feeds (like Google Reader) you can also add Twitter URLs as a feed as well. Handy if you are not signed up to Twitter.

No I did not - I have added CWL - thanks Ian.
This means that I can still truthfully say I have not signed up to Twitter and am therefore not an old person.

 I am now following CWL, although they're a tad quiet eh!

To be honest, I only ever use Twitter when I need to complain. I have found it great for having a moan at Virgin Media as they actually do respond on there. Plus my local council publishes stuff on there as well which makes for interesting reading (such as "were not collecting bins because of the snow" "dont eat at XXXXX restaurant as we have shut them down" etc...)

Very rarely post myself though, but it has it's uses.

Those of you not following Chris' posts on Twitter will have missed his comments regarding possibly releasing a COSC watch (probably quartz) in time for Christmas.
