A Special Competition.....A must Read
A Special Competition.....A must Read
What a load of negatives! Chance to win a ~£500-1,000watch, and people are moaning they are working, if you earn £700/ day, then it's understandable, but for most it's a great opportunity, take the day off
Re: A Special Competition.....A must Read
I entered the competition in realisation that I have the same chance as Portugal in winning the World Cup and that was slim. At least I've had the chance to participate.

I am confident that my entry will win

Re: A Special Competition.....A must Read
Competitions frequently require the winner to collect their prize on a specific date, or the competition is to be able to attend a function / event.
I see no difference here with CWL's offering.
I will be available to attend, but my thinking to compose a reason why I should be the winner is rubbish.

haha, my thoughts exactly. I work, don't live near London and it doesn't happen to fall on my day off. But if I win, flippin heck I'll be there by hook or by crook!ddav wrote: I'll worry about the time off if I win!
In fact, I'm going to turn up anyway incase the winner is someone that fails to make it, and I shall put myself forward as a stand-in to attend & accept the prize

I've entered.
For an event like that I will take the afternoon off work and travel to London!
Even if I'm not lucky enough to be invited, I'll be following on the internet.

The rules are simple and no one is prevented from entering. You just must be able to attend.
I think this is a wonderful gesture by CWL to provide a bit of a competition to invite 3 members to this event. It is not possible to schedule an event to account for everyones schedule or location.
The opportunity is there....one must simply decide if they are able to take advantage of it.
What Kip is saying here, but is too polite to do so,is to stop bloody moaning.
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....
