C60 Kingfisher

Post by Kip »

Due to the many requests CWL has received for the Original Forum C6LE, Chris has come up with the C60 Kingfisher.

The limited information I have so far is that it will be an automatic with a burnt Kingfisher orange color dial. It will not be marked up as an LE and there will be no mention of the forum on it. The case numbers will start at 101 so there will be no conflicts with the Forum LE and this issue will be limited to 100 pieces. It should be released in late June or July.
Price to be determined.

Previews will be posted as soon as available.

This will be a great opportunity for those that missed out on the automatic C6 Forum LE to grab an auto Kingfisher.

So the burnt orange is different than the current orange used?

If there isn't going to be anything 'special' on the dial can we have a choice of dial colourthen?

I'd love a really pastel yellow (like Anonimo).

Be very interesting to see the previews – been trying to resist getting a yellow one for a while now.

So what colour is a burnt kingfisher?

Burnt Kingfisher sounds a tad sadistic, but I'm interested!

I am surprised it's being limited to a run of 100 though, rather than being put out on general release. I guess there might be other plans afoot for a new automatic dive model in that case?

The orange dial will be the same as the current C6 and as far as I know there are no other options for dial colors.

I do like this idea - wear my C6 as an everyday watch, be great if it was automatic. And with the forum LE looking like beauty I better get saving my pennies!

Oh yes, I like the sound of that! Can I pre-order?! :D

I really like Orange faced dive watches, and it would go nicely with my Seiko 'Orange Monster'.

The Automatic swings it for me too, as I'd never heard of CW in the C6 LE days, so missed out on those!

Please oh pretty please can we at least have a diver's extension on the bracelet or at least a long silicon strap with clasp rather than deployment. With these additions it will fit over my dry suit and I will actually be able to use it as a proper Dive watch.

Same here, the orange face is one of my faves as well.

Please make one with a black face for me, please!
And if you really want to make me happy ... a bracelet without the polished pieces. That would be so nice. Or make it possible to buy one in the strap section?
