C4 Peregrine Chronograph reset

Post by Kip »

Regarding the recent troubles resetting the C4 hands. Received this from Chris...

"HI Kip

Some news ...

We seemed to be getting a higher than usual no of returns on the c4 returned due to not being able to reset the chrono to zero...

Upon further inspection we couldn’t fix them in the normal way...it turns out that ISA have changed the way the reset operates on the latest movements we received....but they didn’t let us know... our assemblers in Switzeland were told but not us.....therefore the manuals are incorrect but the watches are good....

We are now in the process of hosting on the site a revised manual and reset document for the 8174 movement were and will contact all customers who have recently purchased.

You might want to let the boys know

Regards Chris"

Is this just for the 'Swiss made' ones or the earlier 'swiss movt' ones too, as my earlier one has gone ga-ga again!!
