A lot of companies are linking their competitions to social media sites like Facebook it's just another tool of marketing at a minimal cost.

I got the link on my news updates because I 'like' CW on Facebook. I imagine you need an account and have to 'like' them before you can enter through that routeLeo Davd wrote:I'd like to share with my friend in Rabat but I'm being thick....is it necessary to register with faceache to enter the competition?

But of course it's necessary! How else would they gain more members, to ultimately bombard with ads and other nonsense. Further serves to alienate myself and others who have nothing whatsoever to do with Facecloth, which will presumably eventually go the way of other such proprietary 'services'... Better if CW could just keep to the web or anything that doesn't require joining anything... Lucky I don't have anything to sell, or at least that I care whether I sell, as I'm told that one has to be a member to keep up these days.Leo David wrote:I'd like to share with my friend in Rabat but I'm being thick....is it necessary to register with faceache to enter the competition?

I can understand that... but in today's world a business that ignores Facebook / Twitter / etc. is playing a risky game - ultimately they are out to make money and for every customer lost through using Facebook, many more are gained...CeeBee wrote:But of course it's necessary!
