1. Terrific work, Ian, thank you - that's some document! :thumbup:

2. Great chat - many thanks to Hans, Kip, Fraser and of course Chris. It is a very different thing to do, and he's brave to put himself and his designs out there.

Good start with the mid sized C60.
Typhoon looks great but not for me.
JJ3 (World Timer) - stunning! Very telling phrase from Chris when asked why the "signature" pieces are all C9 based - he considers that the playground of watch making. Thinking of other innovative pieces from other companies, I get that entirely.
Another interesting comment that they sell more C60s than anything, but I guess we knew that from forum stats and newbie aspirations!
Regulator - impressive too but again not for me.
Mechanical C3 - interesting, maybe. I've just bought a cheap vintage mech chronograph and love it!
So I'm thinking "OK, small C60, fine, Mech C3 possibly but nothing else..." and considering signing off, then he drops in the 39mm slimline manual! Only case designs at the moment so I think I will not speculate and let Chris work his magic.

I know my current CW count is zero; I've tried several but at a time when my tastes were heading smaller, slimmer, older and handwound. I very much want to be a CW owner-wearer again, for I admire the company and its leaders, so to see that this idea is indeed being discussed and that there are most likely 2 or 3 watches I will want - well, it makes me feel very happy!

Now, the weather is awful, but I'm going off for coffee and watch-play at the world's smallest GTG - meeting up with a long-time forum buddy who has a gold Rolex and supports West Ham! Will tell you about it later. :D

Enjoyed the chat.
Not sure how the world timer works but looks v.good.

For me the Typhoon looks bang-on. Very similar to a IWC topgun.

The regulator was another interesting design and well done to them for being innovative.

Ian - thanks for the transcript.

As for the watches that interest me.

Typhoon - like the sound of the ceramic & titanium
World Timer - superb watch - must have !!
Regulator - like the sound of the Unitas hand wound
Back face C20 - only combo I don't have in the C2's

New Clasp - a real thing of beauty
Mesh Strap - Chris recognised they need to get the price right

But it's a minute hand, not an hour hand. Isn't it? :-?
er, nope. :wave:

Yes;
Centre=Minutes
Upper= Hours
Lower=Seconds

It is 5 MB Word document (DOCX format). Don't try and read it on a slow link. :wink: :roll:

If you don't have Word you can download the free Word Viewer from here - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... .aspx?id=4.
Thank you for posting the link to the transcript. Enjoyed reading the posts, undecided about the World Timer.

Actually I kinda like it, the reasoning is, when you want to know the time you need to know it in the following sequence:

Minutes
Hours
Seconds

So if you're running for a train you just need the minutes, not the hours :-)

I prefer a regulator with the minutes indicated by the centre hand, functionally and athletically.

Thanks for the transcript, Ian.

Looks like an expensive end to the year coming up but a couple of real departures from the current stable which is good to see.

I wonder what the 'special' watch will be??

Would have thought there would have been more order to the chat, mute all noise so the C.W could answer without ppl jibber jabbering and blurting out questions all over during a multiline response. I suppose it translates to an enthusiastic audience but did read a gash at points :oops:

So we learned that CWL hands and dials cases are made in China, or was that common knowledge?
