What is the end result?

I would be worried it would look crap and amateurish!

A few months ago i bought a Di-Modell strap to put on my C8 but i have to say now that i much prefer CWs strap so it stays.
The more i look at it the more i like it,can't imagine how an Omega or Breitling strap Etc could be any better.
It's even got quick release spring bar buttons built in,a nice touch.
Nice one Chris :D :D

There are a nice touch and very neat. :D

But lets be honest, they are pointless really. Especially if you are not going to change the strap, would of preferred a matching deployment clasp.

Just feeling a little controversial!

Well, this was gonna be the day. And you know what? So near, yet so far.

A swapped e-mail with Wera and Lois told me today was the day my C8 would land. So I get home and...no parcel!! I start muttering under my breath, and have the following conversation with the lady of the house:

She: "Have you lost something?"

Me (not seeing her smile because I'm lost in a world of disappointment): "The watch was supposed to come today..no parcel, no note saying they couldn't deliver, nothing."

She, still smiling: "Um, so may be someone else has it?"

Me: "Next door, you mean - have they said they've got it?"

She: "No, no...I mean someone far away"

Me, annoyed: "Waddyou mean, explain"

She: "Say, the North Pole?"

So, because the money came from her, she's turned it into a Christmas present. All she'll say is it's Number 4.

NOOO :( :( OOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daz, I think she meant it was C8 number 004, not my fourth present.

I'll be lucky if I get one gift after the face I pulled last night... :(

All,
A little bird tells me there may be a solution for the clasp on the C8IPK so DON'T DO ANY DIY on your 'shiny' clasp.

Just be patient (yeah, right :D )and keep checking in the forum...

Does this mean that the C8's not yet shipped will be corrected?

For all C8 models or just the IPK?

In your post you said it was for the IPK, so is the replacement a black clasp for that particular model or will there be a matt clasp available also for all other C8's?

Sorry to pester but I'm sure it could make the difference for some people who are either thinking of cancelling their existing order or for those that were thinking of placing a new order.
