Focus group

Post by Kip »

Recently during some discussions with Christopher Ward, the idea of a focus group was brought up to discuss several potential items on the agenda of CWL. Chris was also looking for feedback on the C900 and a couple of yet to be introduced models.

On October 24th myself and about a dozen other forum members, who were invited by Chris, attended a late afternoon session/discussion about watches and potential marketing ideas. We were treated to a hands on of the C900 and a special treat by Johannes Jahnke who spoke of how this single pusher movement came about. We were also asked to give opinions and feedback on several other models that were brought in for viewing.

After JJ's presentation and some spirited discussions about potential marketing ideas we were treated to a wonderful meal at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow.

A good time was had by all and we do hope that Chris is satisfied with the information that he received.

It is our hope that this type of focus group can be arranged again in the future as it was most informative and a treat for all to meet with Chris, Saint Wera, JJ , the lovely Debs as well as the other members of the CWL team.

That sounds like an admirable idea and so long as they select a decent cross section of CW buyers then it should be worth its weight in gold in terms of future plans. to Chris et al, it sometimes takes real guts to do this and be prepared to receive both plaudits and brickbats which can be of equal importance. Critical friends are so much more use than rose tinted fans.

I think this is fantasic, I love the way Christopher Ward has retained an intimacy with his customers while growing at a rate of knots.

I agree that it's really cool from Chris and CWL to arrange these types of meetings/discussions. It shows that they appreciate the customers'/forum's feedback.
Hats off to the CWL team

Since the Christopher Ward emails are not getting through to my "in box" :veg: - I can only think that as I did not reply to the email invitation which C.W.L. must have sent me, they assumed that I would not be attending this function

I heard that invitation was via a golden ticket in your latest purchase. Same as Willy Wonka.

Does CWL also have Oompa Loompas like Willy Wonka? :)

It might be a good idea given that CWHQ is so small, but no, I think they're Elves.
