Blue dials?
Swaying towards a blue dial for my next purchase, looked at the C65 trident but the colour doesn’t look good in the pics just wondering what people thoughts are on a nice blue dial probably got a budget upto 1k...

Re: Blue dials?
Love 'em, I wore one as my daily for 25 years, though I don't have a regular blue dial watch that I wear ATM. Couple of possible acquisitions in my sights.... no rush though.

C60 then (GMT if you fancy a splash of colour) or either of the current C65 super compressor models.
The super compressor is a beauty.

Re: Blue dials?
I can’t speak to the C65 trident in blue as I don’t have it. It looks to be a more reserved shade of blue, but still looks very nice. The reference gallery is a great resource to check out real world photos. https://www.christopherwardforum.com/v ... m.php?f=58
I love the deep blue of the super compressor. I also have the C60 sapphire in blue. Both spectacular shades of blue, both extremely variable depending on the lighting.

Re: Blue dials?
I have a bit of a thing about blue dials myself, especially in the summer.
I’m hoping for a blue version of the C63 Elite, or I might have to start ejecting my playthings from the perambulator.

Re: Blue dials?
Really do like the deep blue SC just a bit worried it might be a bit much on my 6.5” wrist
Re: Blue dials?
I've been looking for a blue dial watch for some time now.
For various reasons the blue CWs that I bought have been returned under 60/60 for refunds. These include the C60 Mk3, C65 Diver and the Dartmouth. For me the shade of blue on the Dartmouth suited best but the markers were too much for me and the 9o'clock name prevented me keeping the other 2.
Maybe I'm just being too picky but I'm hoping for the release of a nice blue dial in the new C63 collection (or a Rolex OP 41mm in the dark blue but I'm not holding my breath on that one!)

Re: Blue dials?
We need to collaborate on this. Hold them to ransom for a blue Elite. Any ideas on collateral?

I like the blue of the Dartmouth
Edit: just to add this was a quick shot that doesn't do the colour justice. You'll see some reflection from the window which distorts the true colour

Re: Blue dials?
I can’t let the ‘blue’ topic pass without giving a nod to the best blue produced by CW - the Scooter. Very nice indeed. The second best is the deep blue SC. Very nice too

+1 for the Blue Super Compressor. It is a cracking watch!
