Indeed - I noticed that the pics looked pretty good, so I'm pleased to hear that its fulfilled the pledge !

The one I bought last summer is also virtually unmarked, but sadly it had no Provenance, not even a Box !

I'd like the AM100, to make it a full set for me - but its just not worth the premium price I fear ...

Yeah took a chance on this one as it looked in excellent condition - so many are beaten up especially the bezel.
Checked the CW Archive pricing information and then decided on a figure that I was prepared to pay (last one sold went for c£750 and wasn't in as good a condition).
Banged in a last minute bid and won.
Turned up yesterday and it's in mint condition - doesn't look as if it's been "worn 10 times" as mentioned in the ad.
I'm not keen on the brown and red strap on it so, I've temporarily put a black/blue dot/white stitch C70 strap on and have ordered a special custom made strap - all will be revealed when it arrives in a couple of weeks time.

Overall though, I'm VERY pleased

Yeah I was very tempted by the AM100 that's currently on eBay (was a backup if I hadn't won this one), however, after reflection, I'm not really one for bits in the back of cases and then paying a premium for it. Besides the DBR1 came up/finished first.
I reckon someone will get a bargain on that AM100 based on the fact that it's RRP was £1950 new and it does look like New.
It'll be interesting to see how much it does go for.

The black makes for a really nice contrast against the steel bezel and the bright yellow dial. The yellow lining is an added bonus! This would be a good pic to add to the reference gallery.
