We’ve been doing ‘sports day’ with the kids today. So I had to wear a suitable watch.

@gaf1958 - the case barrel is drop dead gorgeous, Gary. Particularly in your low(ish) winter sunshine.

Back from the brink – on a morning like this I’m quite pleased I decided to keep it!

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

I must agree Guy. You have the, well, not exactly underspoken dark blue dial with the orange touches, but then you get the glimpses of the orange mid-case, which works really well with the camel strap. Quite a different orange too than the Hornet; lighter and more yellow in tone than the Hornet case, so not just a parts job.

One off day date dial in blue and the unique orange casing. One to keep, like your C60 chrono. :)

Whilst this is a special occasion watch for me, it's been getting some wrist time during the recent work from home time. Today I thought I'd show it some sun too! My first full day off from work in a while and a dive watch felt too hot. As I'm not planning on moving far today anything else felt inappropriate! Image
