^^Yep..a pretty nice release on the part of CW, I think...
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

I had one of these years ago and let it go but as time goes by these early models stand up better and better and makes me wish I had held on to one or two

Thanks for the comments on the C65 all. Mind-boggling when I look at it and think that it "only" cost £350! It's a heck of a watch for that money.

Not 100% sure about the Barton strap, looks ok. I have a green/black Cordura hybrid strap on my desk to try this evening and am going to give one of those WatchGecko canvas NATOs a try as well.
Will post photos for those interested in alternative straps :thumbup:
